J. Nicholas Brockmann

Biographical Information

Printmaker and watercolorist Nick Brockmann has long been

 fascinated with the vibrant colors, textures, and moods of the

Caribbean. With over 35 years of experience as a professional artist,

Nick has developed an exceptional eye for capturing the color and

character of the islands in his vistas and seascapes.

Nick holds an MFA in printmaking from the University of Washington

and was a longtime faculty member of the Art Institute of

Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where

he taught classes in Drawing, Painting and Art History.

He visits the islands often in search of

new experiences that will evoke in his work the

essence and flavor of the Caribbean landscape.
